ART and Design Club
In Art Club, we have been designing colourful, snowy mittens catching one delicate snowflake. Some of our younger art clubbers became fascinated with the different snowflake shapes they could make with a simple piece of circular paper and a pair of scissors! A great way to teach pattern and symmetry as well! We are now exploring Optical Illusion art.... Using just colour, shape and line, the children have already produced some super eye-catching pieces: Can you see a 3D hand beneath the stripes and a globe popping out of these designs?

Art Club: Making Ice Cream Cones
This week the art and crafts club have been making ice cream cones. Having decorated their paper cornets, the eager pupils then topped off the delicious treat with cotton wool marshmallows!
"I loved dipping the cotton wool in the glue. It made everything wet and sticky!" Sienna Nickson
