Creative colouring Yr 2/3/4
The levels of creativity were clearly evident this afternoon as Weronika and Martina explained. The children firstly chose part of an intricate pattern to colour taken from a colouring for grown-ups book. Following this they divided their paper into sections and designed their own pattern which they carefully coloured, making sure to stay within the lines. Miss Estall set the challenge of using only two colours which Ellie-Mae reflected was the most challenging as "using two colours was difficult because it meant spreading the colours out and making the different shades with them."

After School Club - Art and Design
In Art and Design the children have been looking at the French painter and sculpture Jean Dubuffet. His playful style is fun to imitate and can encourage some very creative portraiture.
We started by doing a blind drawing of the person sitting opposite us, then sectioned it off and used three colours to draw horizontal and vertical lines within the sections.
