After School Clubs :- Netball YR 3 / 4

The netball club have most recently been practising a variety of other ball games. This afternoon they were using their newly gained skills on the volley ball court. The children can now compete against one another using the correct techniques and successfully completed a hard fought rally.

After School Clubs :- Football YR 5 / 6

The teams lined up for a pre- match photograph as this was their last game for this school year. All the skills they have been learning were clearly evident throughout the match, which led to a compelling game. The match finished in a 4 - 4 draw which everyone agreed was a fitting end.

After School Clubs :- Art & Design

An 'environmental art attack' took the art & design club  outside this afternoon.  After searching the
school grounds for appropriate materials, they had the ideas to use these for spelling out their names, a bunch of flowers, a car at the seaside and a swan on a lake. Just look at some of the beautiful  pieces the group have painted previously using water colours.

After School Club :- Basketball

The club have been focusing recently on their tactical awareness and shooting skills. Mr Clark remarked on how well the children had used these in this afternoons game which saw team A win by 9 to 7. Mr Clark gave Tumelo credit for his "resilience, as his work ethic has been consistent throughout".

After School Clubs :- Performing Arts

As it was the last Performing Arts club for this school year Miss Reynolds decided to let the children choose what they would like to do. The afternoon then started with the children having to use all their senses and powers of observation as they played the games of fish & chips followed by heads down - thumbs up and then wink murder. Great fun was had by all!

After School Clubs:- Choir yr Rec / 1 / 2

The choir were in fine voice this afternoon in their final practise for the end of term sharing assembly on Wednesday. They had divided into two smaller groups to watch each other's performance of the Katy Perry hit 'Roar'.

After School Clubs :- Arts & crafts yr 1 & 2

The Arts & crafts club, along with Mrs Clark who supports this club each week, asked Mrs Chilvers who manages this club to leave them for a while. The group then got to work on some fantastic cards and messages to surprise Mrs Chilvers and  to say a big thank you for all of  her hard work and brilliant creative ideas! She was very surprised and extremely pleased with the children's hard work. Thank you to both Mrs Chilvers and Mrs Clark for their hard work this school year!
