Broadford Primary’s School Choir

On Thursday and Tuesday lunchtimes at Broadford Primary, children – ranged from year 3 to year 6 – gather for choir practice. We have been doing this since September, not to mention that we have taken part in:

Havering dance festival- we danced to Waka Waka by Shakira.

Havering junior music festival- singing with six other schools and individually, the climb.

Also, on the 7th of July we are performing at the Harold Hill Young Voices Festival which will take place in Central Park. The songs we will be singing are:

Ob la Di Ob la Da – The Beatles

The Climb – Miley Cyrus

Rainbow Connection – Kermit the Frog

Count On Me – Bruno Mars

Ain’t No Mountain – Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell

We Are the World – Michael Jackson

To make choir fun, Miss McGuinness (our choir coordinator) carefully chooses songs that are lively, extraordinary and appropriate for us. Our favorite songs include:

Waka Waka-Shakira

Ob la Di Ob la Da-The Beatles

Count on me-Bruno Mars

Anyone can attend as long as you are year 3, 4, 5 or 6.
