The Best Assembly Ever!

This morning we had an assembly that lasted for one hour. Many certificates were given out and the assembly ended with cakes and drinks for blue team because they received the highest number of house points for the term. We had our lucky bucket out for the 100% attendance children with 30 and 5 pound Argos vouchers for the winners.

Louise: "The assembly was fantastic and I enjoyed it."

Dara: "The assembly was filled with things to thrill and excite!"

Inter-House Competition

On Wednesday there was a fabulous inter-house football match it was like Arsenal against Manchester City. The teams were Red team, Blue team, Green team and Yellow team. Green team won and the only thing that could be heard was "GOOOOAAAAAALLLL!" Green team were at the top of the Champions League. For Key Stage 2 Fletcher was the magnificent man of the match like Didier Drogba. In Key Stage 1 Samson was man of the match.

James said: “It was like Chelsea against Real Madrid again.”

Olympic Dance Festival

On Tuesday 20th March 2012, 20 pupils of Broadford (who are years 3, 4 and 5) are participating in a dance festival that is based on the 2012 Olympic games. They will dance to a song named Waka Waka by Shakira because it shows determination and persistence of people who take part in the Olympic games. It will be held tomorrow night from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Saint Edwards CE School (just in case of traffic, they will be expected to return at 7:00pm).
