Macbeth Workshop For Year 5/6

On Friday 2nd March, we were very lucky to have Sarah Bigfoot accompany us in a Macbeth production including three 5/6 classes so each class had something to do. Elm, {who is an all year 6 class} had to act out the first section which was when Macbeth and Banquo encounter the three hideous, gruesome and colloquial spooky three witches who had missing body parts and unconnected bones. After, Willow {which is a year all year 5 class} then had to act out when Macbeth killed Banquo and King Duncan in order to obtain the throne what the witches had predicted. Finally, Maple {who is the only year 5/6 class} had to act out the last section which was when the woods of birnam hill approached him and when he was beaten by Macduff. ”Macbeth was interesting because we didn’t know he killed so many people” replied Amy shortly after the workshop.
